All India Management Association (AIMA) has re-opened the registration for MAT 2019 Pen and paper-based test (PBT). The first exam of PBT has been over on February 17, 2019. Candidates can now apply for Phase 2 PBT if they want to improve their score or have missed applying for the first session. The last date to apply for Phase 2 is February 20, 2019. The exam date is February 24, 2019. Candidates can apply for MAT 2019 at aima.in using the registration id and password.
Previously, AIMA revised the exam dates for Computer-Based Test (CBT). The last date to apply for the CBT February session is February 18, 2019. The exam for this mode is scheduled to conduct on February 23, 2019. For MAT, candidates can either apply for CBT/ PBT or both. Students who are opting to take the exam in both modes will able to select 7 management institutes instead of 5.
The admit card dates for MAT 2019 February session are also available. As per the official website, CBT Admit Card is releasing on February 19, 2019, 5 PM onwards. Candidates can download it using the registration number and date of birth. For the candidates who will register for Phase 2 until the last date will get the hall ticket on 21 February. On the examination day, it is imperative to carry a copy of the admit card and photo identity proof.
The exam pattern for CBT and PBT is the same. The only difference is that PBT candidates have to mark their responses on the OMR sheet. It needs to be submitted to the test administrator along with the question paper. The MAT 2019 paper consists of five sections naming Indian & Global Environment, Mathematical Skills, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. There will be 200 questions in the exam with negative marking of ¼ marks.
The result for MAT February session is expected to release in the first week of March 2019. The MAT result publishes within 9-10 after the conduction of exam. So, it is highly probable that it may announce by March 5-6, 2019. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download it from the official website using the login credentials. Using the scorecard, candidates can participate in the selection process MAT 2019 accepting institutes.
About MAT 2019: Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by AIMA four times (February, May, September, December) a year. In each session, AIMA gives an option to candidates to appear for PBT or CBT or both. From the last few sessions, it has started conducting PBT in two phases. After the conduction of exam, AIMA only sends the score to the selected Management Institutes (MIs), it is the responsibility of the candidates to fill the form separately of these institutes in order to participate in the selection process.
