The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has announced the exam date for the MBBS 2019 entrance examination. The registration for AIIMS MBBS 2019 will start from November 15, 2018, onwards. The Institute has taken an initiative for the aspirants who wish to take admission in AIIMS for MBBS programme using the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) facility.
In the past, it has been found that most of the applications were rejected due to the improper way of filling the information rather than the educational qualifications. So, now, the students can register for the entrance exam six months in advance and can rectify the error(s) if there is any.
The registration for AIIMS MBBS 2019 is divided into two parts i.e. Basic Registration and Final Registration. In the first stage, those candidates who are willing to appear for the entrance exam for 2019 or even if anyone wants to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2020 can do the basic registration. In this step, the candidates have to fill in personal information and will have to upload images as per the specification. There is no fee to be paid in the basic registration. The last date to complete the basic registration is December 12, 2018, up to 05:00 PM.
After the completion of the First stage, the details and the images uploaded will be screened. Hence, there will be adequate time to correct errors and deficiencies. Furthermore, the candidates will be informed whether their registration is accepted or not. The candidates will be able to check their status of acceptance of Basic Registration from January 03, 2019 onwards.
Candidates whose applications will be rejected at the stage of Basic Registrations will not be allowed for the Final Registrations.
The Final registration and the complete details about AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be available from January 29, 2019, onwards. In the Final Registration, applicants can fill remaining details such as qualification details, choose the available city for examination and make the necessary payments.
Those candidates who want to appear for the current year’s entrance exams can continue to the final registrations. Otherwise, their basic details of the aspirants will be valid for the subsequent years’ AIIMS MBBS exams and they will be allowed to appear for the future AIIMS MBBS exams.
It has also been notified by AIIMS, that after the completion of the Final Registration, uploading Admit Card, the Basic Registrations will be resumed for the subsequent year’s registrations. Hence, those who are already registered but do not wish to appear for AIIMS MBBS 2019, if apply next year, need not do the basic registration again. However, for each session, the final registrations required to be done.
Thus, the candidates will not have to face the troubles for the registrations every time and they will be notified earlier whether their registrations are valid or not.
AIIMS New Delhi is conducting the MBBS entrance examination for the academic year 2019. The candidates are offered admission in the MBBS programme at AIIMS New Delhi and eight other AIIMS. The entrance examination will be held on May 25 and 26, 2019. The exam will be held in two shifts, the first shift will be held from 09:00 AM till 12:30 PM, the second shift is from 03:00 PM to 06:30 PM. It is a computer-based test which will have one paper consisting of 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice and
Reason-Assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude.
