The All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, is going to start the registration process for AIIMS MBBS 2019. The registration for AIIMS MBBS has been changed for the academic session 2019. The new process is known by the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR). From this year, the process of registration will take place in two stages — basic and final.
The Basic registration for AIIMS MBBS 2019 is going to start from today onwards and the last date to complete the Basic Registration is January 03, 2019 onwards. The new registration process has been introduced to avoid any last minute rush and discrepancy in the forms.
The students who wish to apply for the AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance examination must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and should then only proceed to register for it. The aspirants should have passed or be appearing or have appeared (and awaiting result) for class 12 examination or its equivalent with the subjects including English, physics, chemistry and biology with 60 per cent marks (50 per cent for SC/ST/OPH candidates) in aggregate.
The students should have scored at least 50% for the unreserved category, 45% in case of OBC (non-creamy layer), and 40% in case of SC/ST.
To do the basic registration, the aspirants will have to visit the official website at www.aiimsexams.org. On visiting the official website, click on the tab for “Academic Courses”. Then click on the MBBS course. On selecting the course, the candidates will be redirected to a new page for AIIMS MBBS 2019. Click on the link for the registration.
To do the Basic Registration, the aspirants will have to fill in details such as Name, Date of birth, Category, Gender, Nationality, Email id, Mobile number, etc. After the candidates have entered the basic details, next, they will have to upload scanned images of their recent passport size photograph and signature.
The images must be uploaded as per the specification and format given by the Institute. The Basic Registration is free of consist and consist of two steps only. First the candidates need to fill in their basic information, then next they will have to upload scanned images.
Once the basic registration process is over, the Institute will then upload the status of the Basic registration online on January 07, 2019. It is strongly recommended to the candidates that they should check the status of the acceptance or rejection of the AIIMS MBBS 2019 Basic Registration.
Those whose basic registrations are not accepted will be given an opportunity to correct those errors/ discrepancies. Remember that only those candidates whose basic registration is completed successfully will be allowed for the next process of the registration which is Final Registration. The AIIMS MBBS 2019 Final registration will begin from February 12, 2018.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 is going to be conducted on May 25 and 26, 2019. Every year, on an average 2.5 lakh medical aspirants apply for this entrance examination. It is one of the biggest exams, after the centrally conducted National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). The entrance exam for AIIMS MBBS 2019 is going to be held for admission in MBBS courses in AIIMS New Delhi, Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Mangalagiri, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rae Bareli, Rishikesh and Telangana.
