AIIMS Junior Resident Recruitment 2019 is notified by AIIMS New Delhi for 194 vacancies. Candidates are invited to apply online for Junior Residents (Non-Academic) for July 2019 session. For this post, entry pay is Rs 56,100 per month plus allowances. Candidates who completed MBBS/BDS or equivalent including residency between 01.07.2016 to 30.06.2019 are eligible.
First preference is given to AIIMS New Delhi MBBS grads. Then, non AIIMS New Delhi MBBS grads will be selected on basis of rank in AIIMS PG 2019 May exam. Thereafter rank will be calculated for non-AIIMS, non-AIIMS PG candidates on basis of marks in MBBS exam, or MCI Screening Test in case of those who have done MBBS from medical college outside India.
AIIMS Junior Resident Recruitment 2019 notification has been released on May 16, 2019 (read it here). Eligibility criteria dictates that candidates must have passed MBBS / BDS. Also, their term should have been such that they completed MBBS/BDS including residency between 01.07.2016 to 30.06.2019. Those who are selected should have DMC/DDC Registration.
Candidates can apply online at jr.aiimsexams.org/StudentLogin.aspx. Last date to fill and submit form is June 3, 2019. If application is successful, then candidates will get email on their registered email ID. In addition, they can check status of registration at aiims.ac.in, aiimsexams.org, aiims.edu from June 11, 2019. If status of application is not available on website, then he/she should contact Assistant Controller of Examinations, AIIMS, New Delhi-110608 along with full particulars of registration of application form.
AIIMS will display list of candidates who have applied and are found to be eligible at its notice board of Academics Section on June 11, 2019, at 4 PM. The same shall also be put up at aiims.edu and aiims.ac.in.
Counselling for AIIMS Junior Resident Recruitment 2019 shall be held on June 13, 2019. It will take place at Jawaharlal Auditorium, AIIMS at 9 AM. All candidates whose name is in above-mentioned list can attend counselling; they will not get any separate notification for it.
Junior Resident Non Academic term is 6 months. A maximum of three terms are allowed. Those who have done 3 terms of JR NA either at AIIMS or outside will not be considered.
Number of UR candidates to be called for counselling equals 4 times the number of vacancies. However, all reserved candidates EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PWD shall be called for counselling without any upper cap.
Vacancies of AIIMS Junior Resident Recruitment 2019 are overall 194 in number. Maximum vacancies are in 76 in Emergency Medicine. Then there are 31 in Surgery (trauma centre). There are 10 vacancies in Emergency Medicine (trauma centre).
