The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth has confirmed that the application form for AEEE 2019 will be available from October 10, 2018, onwards. Earlier only the exam date for the Computer-based and Pen-paper based test was announced. The Computer-based test for AEEE 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on April 22-26, 2019, whereas, the pen-paper based test will be held on April 27, 2018.
The officials have confirmed the date for commencement of the registration process through an email query sent to them.
The candidates are offered admission to B.Tech programmes of 2019 batch, at Amrita School of Engineering – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore campuses on the basis of rank secured in Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2019 (AEEE) and JEE Main (January & April session).
The application form for AEEE 2019 will available online at the official website of the Univeristy, amrita.edu. However, it is also expected that the application forms shall also be available offline mode at various Post Offices, or from the Amrita University campuses.
Before the candidates proceed to fill in details in the AEEE 2019 Application Form, it is advised to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. The aspirants should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum score of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Furthermore, in each subject, the candidate should have scored not less than 55%. Also, there is an age limit criteria to apply for the entrance examination.
In the application form, the aspirants need to provide details such as their Personal Information, Educational Qualification details, exam details, etc. Also, in the online application, the aspirants need to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications, whereas, in the offline application form, the candidates need to paste their recent passport size photograph and do the signature in the provided space.
The AEEE 2019 CBT will be conducted at 90+ centers across India. The candidates will be allowed to choose the test center during the time of filling in details in the application form. To submit the form, the aspirants need to submit a requisite amount of the application fee. To submit the AEEE 2019 online application, the candidates can pay the application fee by online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking, however, in case of the offline application, the application fee is payable by Demand Draft.
