Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducts 10th class and 12th class board examination for UP state board. It has made it minatory for students to carry their Aadhaar cards to the the test centre. A directive was issued to all the principals of Uttar Pradesh schools to take steps to get Aadhaar cards made for all the students appearing for intermediate and high school exams.
For upcoming class 10 and class 12 Uttar Pradesh board exams, the students will have to keep their Aadhaar cards along with admit cards to be able to enter the examination center. According to the reports, the students, who fail to carry their Aadhaar cards, will not be allowed to sit for the exams.
This move is taken to reduce malpractices such as fraudulent registrations. With this directive in place, it is speculated that the the number of students appearing in the UP board exams will be lesser than the students who appeared in previous years.
As per schedule UP Board class 10 and 12 board exam 2018 will begin from February 6. A total of 67,29,540 has registered for UP Board Exam 2018.
Its is informed well in advanced that strict measures will be taken to curb cheating and the examinations would be wrapped up within a month.
