The long awaited notification for 69000 UP Assistant Teacher vacancy has been released at atrexam.upsdc.gov.in. As per official notice, candidates who are interested and stand eligible for the position can apply online at atrexam.upsdc.gov.in from December 6 to 20, 2018. Application fee is Rs 600 for General and OBC category, and Rs 400 for SC and ST category candidates. At atrexam.upsdc.gov.in, candidates can register for the exam, download notification, sample application form, guidelines, and details of examination. UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination 2019 shall be held on January 6, 2019 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM.
The last date to pay application fee is December 21, 2018. Those who apply successfully can take printout of filled in form until December 22, 2018. Registered candidates will get admit cards on December 31, 2018. After the exam, the exam conducting body shall upload answer key of UP Assistant Teacher Vacancy 2019 on January 8, 2019. Result shall be announced on January 22, 2019.
In order to apply, candidates need to visit atrexam.upsdc.gov.in. There they will get link to apply online / register. In registration and elsewhere in application form, only correct details should be filled.
Candidates should verify data with their documents before filling them in form. In form, details such as Name of the Applicable District, Name of Candidate / Candidate, Mother’s name, father’s name, Name and address of the house district (including station and pin code), Telephone number (including STD code), Mobile No, Date of birth (as per high school certificate), Gender, Category, Training qualification received, Primary Level Teacher Eligibility Examination, Description of educational qualification of the candidate, Type of photo identity card, Photo identity number have to be filled. Also, candidates need to upload a photograph in JPEG / JPG format, of size limited to 20 KB.
UP Assistant Teacher Exam 2018-2019 shall be of 2.5 hours duration. The exam shall comprise of 150 multiple choice questions of 150 marks. Syllabus of the examination has also been published in notification. As per it, number of questions shall be in following manner: Language Hindi, Sanskrit, English – 40, Science – 10, Maths – 10, Environmental and Social Studies – 10, Teaching Skills – 10, Child Psychology – 10, General Knowledge / Current Affairs – 30, Logical Reasoning – 5, Information Technology – 5, Life Skills / Aptitude and Attitude – 10.
Examination shall be held at 69 districts in Uttar Pradesh. Notification enlists these districts namely Agra, Hathras, Aligarh, Mathura, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Eta, Bareilly, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Muradabad, Amroha, Rampur, Bijnaur, Kanpurnagar, Kanpurdehat, Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Aurayya, Itawa, Merut, Bagpat, Ghaziabad, Gautambudhghnagar, Bulandshahar, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Unnao, Raebarely, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Jalaun, Varanasi, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Gazipur, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Santarvidasnagar, Azamgarh, Mau, Baliya, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Devriya, Kushinagar, Basti, Santkabirnagar, Siddharthnagar, Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, Sultanpur, Barabanki, Gonda, Balrampur, Bahraich, Shrawasti, Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba.
To be eligible for UP Assistant Teacher Vacancy, candidates should be qualified in teacher eligibility test. Furthermore, candidates should be between 21 to 40 years old as on July 1, 2018. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST, OBC candidates. Other age relaxations are also applicable as per government norms.
Domicile is also necessary. Candidates who are either domicile of UP or they have been staying in UP continuously for 5 years before applying are eligible.
Candidates are requested to note that this is the UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2019. Previously this year, UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018 has been conducted to fill 68500 vacancies. However in that exam, only 41556 candidates could clear the exam. As per reports, 107873 candidates had appeared in the exam held on May 27, 2018 at 248 centres. In it, merit list was compiled on the basis of recruitment exam and previous academic marks. 60% weightage was given to UP Assistant Teacher Exam and 10% each were given to class 10, class 12, and graduation marks.
