Just 3 more days to go when National Testing Agency will start the JEE Main 2019 Registration process again for the April attempt. NTA is releasing the JEE Main 2019 Application Form for the April attempt on February 08, 2019. The last date to register for the April exam is March 07, 2019. The candidates will get the application form over jeemain.nic.in.

For the January exam, NTA has received around 9,29,198 registrations for Paper 1 and for the Paper 2, they had received 1,80,052 applications. The numbers are expected to rise this time. This is because this is the last attempt, the candidates who have not appeared in the January attempt will be attempting this time along with the candidates who have appeared in the January exam and plan to appear yet again. The JEE Main 2019 April Exam will take place between April 06 – 20, 2019.

To apply for the April exam, the candidates need to follow similar steps. they need to authenticate themselves using the authentication form. Thereafter they need to fill the application form, upload the scanned images and pay the application fee using the online mode or the e challan facility.

NTA will release the notice about the JEE Main 2019 Application form release and then the link to fill the application form will be activated. The candidates need to complete the application form before the last date and submit the same. There will be no separate window opening for the last submission facility. However, the application form correction window will open.

Now, what can we expect this time in the NTA JEE Main 2019 April exam? Here are the following expectations that one can have as per the exam of the January attempt:

The registrations are expected to rise: Most of the students who have appeared in the January attempt are vouching to reappear in the April attempt too. In addition to that, many candidates who have missed the January exam will take the April attempt. Thus, the registrations are expected to rise this time.

Difficulty Level of the exam: As compared to CBSE, as per the candidate’s reaction, NTA has set very concept-based questions. The average response of the candidates after the exam was that, if your concepts are clear the exam is a joy-ride for you! Physics was said to be the toughest section in most of the shifts, mathematics the moderate section and Chemistry being the easiest of the 3.

Computer Based Test – a no problem: NTA might be conducting the exam in the online mode for the first time, but there are no issues with the CBT mode of the exam. In the January exam, there were no technical glitches. Mock Tests will reduce any fear that the candidates may face with the online mode of the exam. The computer-based exam interface is quite student friendly and easy to handle.

Changes in pattern and syllabus: None. there was no change in the exam pattern or the syllabus in the January exam. the candidates said that maximum questions were NCERT based. There were no out of the syllabus questions and neither the exam pattern was altered by any means.

National testing Agency has successfully conducted the JEE Main 2019 exam for the January attempt. The result for paper 1 was declared on January 19, 2019, and the result of Paper 2 came out on January 31, 2019. The April exam is the second chance for all the candiadtes who have appeared in the January exam to improve their scores. The best NTA scores out of both the attempts will be used to prepare the final AIR of JEE Main 2019, on the basis of which the admission will be made in the NITs, IIITs and the CFTIs.
