Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will close the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2019 Registration window on 20 March at 5:00 PM. Candidates who have not applied yet for the computer-based examination must submit the application form before the last date. The forms for Integrated First Degree Programmes are available in online mode only at bitsadmission.com.
In order to apply for BITSAT 2019, candidates must complete the four-step application process. The application fee is different for males and females. For the males, the exam fee is Rs 3150/- and for the females, the fee is Rs 2650/-. The amount for the form can be paid via credit card, debit card, net banking etc.
In the first step, students must complete the registration process. In there, enter valid and authentic details like name, gender, date of birth, email id and phone number. Set the password and proceed to get the login credentials. Moreover, it is essential that students have checked the eligibility criteria before filling the form. For Non- B.Pharm and B.Pharm courses, the different subjects and minimum qualifying marks are required.
In the next step, fill the application form with details related to personal, 12th standard, test centre preference. Re-check the details and mover forward to upload the photograph and signature. The documents should be in JPG/ JPEG format only. For photograph and signature, the size must be 4kb-50kb and 1kb-30kb respectively.
Lastly, pay the application fee as applicable. Once the process is over, students will get one time opportunity to edit the application form. The online correction window will open for four days between March 22-25, 2019. Candidates have to use the login to access the facility. BITS will not entertain any queries on email or phone regarding this.
After the completion of the application form process, BITS will start the slot booking. Candidates must book a slot to get the preferred exam date and centre. In case, a student fails to choose a slot, then the institute will itself allot the slot as per the availability. Further, the hall tickets will be issued 12 Apr-13 May 2019. It is important to have the hall ticket on the exam day.
As only a few months have been left for the test, candidates roll up their sleeves and start preparing according to the exam pattern. The computer-based exam will have 150 questions that need to be attempted in 180 minutes. There will be 40 questions each from Physics and Chemistry. In English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning and Mathematics section will have 25 and 40 questions respectively.
